Dr Bal Sohal

General and Cosmetic Dentist

Dr Bal graduated from the prestigious King’s College London Dental Institute where he served as undergraduate president of the college’s dental society. 

While at King’s College, Dr Bal was awarded an impressive array of awards, including Guy’s Full Shield, the Richard Dickinson USA Trust Fund Award, the King’s Opportunity Fund, the Gold Star Award and the Jelf Medal—the dental school’s most prestigious accolade. 

His awards and work for King’s College’s dental society caught the eye of the British Dental Journal—the most widely distributed dental journal in the UK—in which he was interviewed and featured.

Dr Bal has continued to receive awards throught his career, being named Mini-Smile-Makeover’s Young Maestro and NSK Rising Star 2019, and Best Young Dentist London 2020 at both the FMC & Private Dentistry Awards.

Dr Bal also won the FMC Fast Track 4 Award and was Highly Commended at the Aesthetic Dentistry Awards in the Restorative Composite Smile Makeover category.  

His work showcased in numerous presentations and he has also presented his cases at conferences in the US. 

Dr Bal believes in continuous development to ensure his patients receive the highest standard of care. He has completed a four-day residency in Milan with the respected Style Italiano Group and a year-long post-graduate programme with the world-renowned Dr Chris Orr. 

Dr Bal was recently appointed as Young Opinion Leader for Ivoclar Vivadent—a leading global dental company. 

 Outside of work Dr Bal is a keen footballer and enjoys staying fit by training regularly. He also loves travelling and spending time with family.
